Very interesting. I appreciate your attempt to tie in the ancient times references. What is the “loophole” referred to? Does this connect to your theory?
The loophole is being able to wait until all three smoke monster entities exist and using them to manipulate an individual — Ben — to kill Jacob. I have a feeling that the main problem here is in order to do it, one must freely choose to do it. Jacob represents in some way Free Will, while the Smoke Monster acts according to predestination. In way they have to respect each other’s role. Until that day where the Smoke MOnster manipulated Ben to “choose” to kill Jacob.
Hmm, agreed that the loophole is most likely “Black Shirt” killing Jacob by manufacturing events that lead to someone (Ben) willing to choose to do it themselves. not sure sure about the theory of the three “smoke monsters” yet
I think that after the incident, one of the smoke monsters becomes trapped in the cabin — either by Horace, or Rose & Bernard.
At some point — we still don’t know when — the metallic dust is removed around the cabin, and this allowed for the smoke monster to escape and begin implementing his plan.

Very interesting theory. But If thats the case, shouldn’t Jacob be killed in 1977 instead of present time(?

Yes, he would, except . . . .
